Cleanser types

 The most common ones are:

- wipes: some beauty experts dislike wipes as they are generally viewed as not being effective at cleaning the skin,  I only use wipes to simply remove my makeup, so that I am not wasting my cleansing products to do this initial skin care step.

- creams: these can be beneficial to those with very dry or sensitive skin, depending on the product.  There are also ones described as 'milk' cleansers that provide moisturising properties to the skin.

- gels: this form is a personal choice, as products are available to suit different skin types or age.  The most non-drying ones are those that change from a gel to a milky consistency when in contact with water.

- balms: have a smooth, rich consistency which tend to be the choice for very dry or mature skin.

Incorporating face cleansing into your daily routine and finding cleansing products that you enjoy using and easily fit into your self-care routine, is key to reaping these benefits which can contribute to having great skin.
